Viking Modern Dice Set: Mjolnir
One of the most unusual figures in the pantheon of deities in Norse mythology, was Thor Odinson. Being a mighty god of storms and lightning, he was characterized by a fierce character and sometimes recklessness, but he always emerged victorious in every trial. His ferocity in battle was a model for Viking warriors, and wearing his symbol was meant to bring courage and strength to fight. The lightning strike was identified with Mjolnir, Thor's famous war hammer, which helped him control the lightning, was known to return to his hand after being thrown, and allowed him to distribute blessings.It is unquestionably right to call the new Modern Viking Dice Set by Mjolnir?s name. Runic dice are one of the first ever created by designers in Q WORKSHOP, and we always remember them, as our first step to conquering the world with our dice. First Runic Dice were handmade and hand-painted in such meticulous passion that to this day we are bewondered by their quality and charm.
Runes are always a mystery. These sigils, full of secrets are always something that catches the eye and raises questions about the forgotten lore of ancients. The runes used to functioned as letters, but they were much more than just letters. Each rune was a sigil of some supernatural power and to write a rune was to invoke and direct the force for which it stood. Runes were traditionally carved onto stone, wood, bone, metal, or some similarly hard surface rather than drawn with ink and pen on parchment. This explains why we choose them for carvings on the dice. We wont to make durable dice imbued with the power of magic because there is ?real magic? in roleplaying games. Now you can ?write? tales about your adventures with Runic Dice.
A little bit of mysticism?
These dice are marked with the Runic alphabet that makes them more than normal sets. People have been studying Runic writing for ages. Our designers have consulted the use of Runic alphabet not only with Nordic runemasters but with the last Dwarven race representatives too. We have made all that we could in order to make near all your dice rolls successful!
Runic Black & white Dice Set was marked by rune NAUTHIZ. This sigil resembles two pieces of wood crossed and prepared ready to start a fire. This set is suited for all warmonger and liberators that started a fire in hearts of allies and directly burn their enemies, sometimes on stakes. We made this set as our darkest runic dice because we know that sometimes night is best for changing the world and in shadows we can defeat even the mightiest beast.

These dice are for evil geniuses because they need good handouts in their mission of threatening the world. The difference between East and West is also a dispute over what dragons are. In the Far East, it is believed that they are wise and good beings who help people. They are also supposed to bring good luck. In the West, dragons are dangerous monsters eating people and burning property. Sometimes the dragon is actually the Herald of the Apocalypse. However, the world is one, so our dragon dice are to reconcile and not divide. Thanks to that we could design universal dragon dice, dedicated to all these majestic creatures. After reading the whole canon of the ?Dragonology?, you can see clearly: dragons are wise creatures that can be good, bad or neutral like people and characters in an RPG. Our sets could not be made of any other raw material than the one obtained from the lands marked on the ancient maps as HIC SUNT DRACONES. We will not tell you where we got such great material, but thanks to it, our engraved dice will last for years. Like the dragon scales, they will also be beautiful and amazing for a long time. It should also be mentioned that the dragons dice are produced almost from the very beginning of Q WORKSHOP history and today the latest series have no equal on the market. We have perfected them for years and we plan to further modernize the technology so that there will never be any better dice, really worthy of dragon treasure.

Carve a rune - gain its power
The more noble and flexible the vessel, the more powerful rune carvings are. From the wooden tokens, through sculpted bones, the most everlasting natural material for rune engravings are stones. Jade is a mineral used throughout centuries - even millennia - as having not only decorative, but also protective, healing and mystical purposes. It was believed to shield one from harm, to help find courage and inner harmony, heal wounds, fight curses and spells, even repel evil spirits. Thats is why we chose the Bottle-green color, which resembles jade gemstone.
Runic symbols engraved and painted with golden ink are with their own meaning: they?re supposed to strengthen the protective and healing properties of jade. We all know and love the Moomins. As children, we would gladly sit in front of a TV to watch an episode of their adventures, listen to our parents read books about them, or read them ourselves. To this day, many people around us use Moomin characters as a reference for some character traits. Who doesn't know a girl who thinks she is like Little My, or who has dreamy eyes after Snufkin? Who among us was not afraid of the Groke, who was not fascinated by Hattifatteners? ?Moomins? is one of those stories that accompany us for a large part of our lives, for better and for worse.
One of the most important and characteristic places in the Moomin Valley was the Moomin House. That?s where the whole family used to meet and live, that was where their friends used to come. That was there that they hid from the Groke (when they did not understand her yet), there they sheltered those who were lost or in need of care. Dwarves are usually associated with undersized, bearded folk, who love gold, beer and to juggle hammers. They originally come from the Viking sagas. They were created, thanks to the will of the gods, from the tiny bones of the dead giant - Ymir, while the rest of his skeleton became the building material of the world known to us. They are brothers of the mountains and are really born of the bones of the earth itself. Our dice are created in a similar way. We grind the best Nordic giant?s bones we have in stock and then melt them down to make a resource worthy of dwarves craftsmanship. Dwarves are known as the best blacksmiths and jewellers. They also deal with the magic of items. From their workshops come the greatest treasures and the best weapons in the whole known world of the North. They were the ones who forged the weapons of the gods., so our dice can?t be ordinary. They must be perfected all the time, just as the dwarves are always looking for the perfect forms that are enchanted in the metal and stone. This set must be as strong as the bearded people and beautiful in their usefulness as the most perfect product of the dwarven craft. We decided on an extensive engraving, where the numbers and symbols of weapons are more strongly marked and the delicate "maze" of the lines creates a background. That's how we got dice worthy of dvergar and their creations.
Dwarven items from the sagas
Each color combo of our dice is a tribute to one of the works of dwarves from the sagas. We want your characters, like Odin, Freya, Thor and others, to have the adventures worthy of skaldic songs. All Nordic gods and heroes used the objects forged for them by dwarves. It was the dwarves' wonders that helped them accomplish the heroic deeds and let them get out of even the biggest trouble. They were their treasures and without them, it would have been much harder. Our dice have the same goal: to help defeat enemies, bring successes, and then cherish the heart. These are dice for heroes - hard, beautiful and useful in every struggle and every adventure that a cruel fate led by the Game Master might bring you.Our latest colour set is beige and burgundy. We want the set to have the same powers as Odin's spear - Gungnir. This weapon always hit. The blade was hardened in milk, blood, pitch and honey, set on a stick from the sacred ash, and it was able to hurt everyone. Don?t ask if our dice are also made this way. We will not confirm or deny it anyway. The most important thing is that they work and everyone who uses them will notice that he or she throws them better, just as if the All-Father helped the hero.

It's a cloth armor for all these happy polyhedral dice that help players defeat the dragon, cast a fireball, captivate the evil troll, lull the manticore and resurrect the skeletons' legion to get medieval on their ?rear parts?. Such a dice bag must be durable, nice and suitable for the character's characteristics.
Q WORKSHOP has embraced a new technology and we have a product with a durable print made of a perfect cotton fabric that will last for years. The cord has been made from a synthetic spider web (we respect the arachnophobia of some gamers and we do not want to torment the endangered species of large spiders, like children of the Shelob). We made these bags having in mind your dice, which we respect as our own. You know that dice are our passion.
Dwarven Black & white Dice Bag
The dwarves are masters in many crafts, even in making the best dice bags ever. This project was consulted with folk from one of the last dwarven clans of North. Even in Scandinavia are few of them and they work only with the best. We have put a lot of time into convincing them to work with us. This is an elegant black model of our dice bags from dwarven series, with sophisticated white print.
This noble black Dwarven Dice Bag is made of thick fine cotton with printed on one side. We choose crest of one of the bravest units of the dwarven army, the mighty Axmen of Black Mountains. You should be proud of wearing their symbol and act like a true hero like them. This is a very safe bag because two strings hold firmly all that you put inside.
